About Me

I moved to Taos over forty years ago and can’t imagine living any place else. I have raised four kids with my wife Vanessa, who owns and operates Dimond Mortgage in Taos. I graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned a Masters in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University.

During my schooling I interned with Ted Wiard at Golden Willow Retreat and facilitated their weekly grief group. After earning my Masters degree, I continued to work with both Golden Willow Counseling and Golden Willow Retreat as well as facilitating the Grief Group for almost five years. During this time I worked as an LMHC with individuals, adults, adolescents and children as well as couples and families. I recently earned my independent license, LPCC, and last year opened my private practice in Taos.
